History through video

This term we’ve been looking at the Ancient Greeks and I wanted a novel way for the children to research and present their information in an engaging and easy-to-use way.

Enter Adobe Spark Video! This brilliant app, lets children present their information in a powerpoint-esque style but without the difficult to use features and costly software.

It literally took them 5 minutes to work out how to use it and we spent a whole afternoon researching and creating our mini videos that will be used within our end of term assembly.

Have a look and see what you think!

Adobe Spark Video can be found for free on the app store.

There are so many ways you can use this app to create some fantastic pieces but I loved the way one of my colleagues used this to explain mathematical reasoning. Visit Ciara Murphy’s twitter to find out more.
